Please gather with us to trade your homemade, homegrown or foraged goods. All are welcome. Please RSVP so that we know how many to expect.
All swap items must be homemade, homegrown, or foraged by you. This could be baked goods, jam, pickles, granola, nuts, eggs, pasta, sausages, fruits, vegetables, body scrubs, the list is endless. Bring as much as or as little as you like. You can bring multiples of one thing or several different items. A list of ingredients for your food is helpful for those with food sensitivities.
Please have your goods packaged so that they will be able to be picked up and examined by others.
This is a free event, but we will be welcoming donations to help cover the costs of organizing.
Please bring a pot luck item to share.
We will be organizing this similar to a silent auction. Every participant will have table space to display your goods. We will provide sign up sheets, with spaces to list what you would like to swap in exchange. We are basing this on swaps held around the country, some of whom are listed on the Hip Home Girls blog.
Our next event is going to be held on Sunday, November 11 at the Charlottesville Cooking School, from Noon to 2 pm.. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
